What is happiness? Joseph Smith observed that it is "the object and design of our existence and will be the end thereof, if we pursue the path that leads to it. This path is virtue, uprightness, faithfulness, holiness, and keeping all of the commandments of God. We cannot keep all of the commandments without knowing them."

Jesus said in effect to his disciples in Galilee, "Put your burden upon me, if they are too heavy for you to carry." When Jesus was on his way to Gethsemane and Golgotha, he said, "Be of good cheer. I have overcome the world."
