Army Emergency Relief

In 2007 Army Emergency Relief (AER) provided over $70 million in
financial assistance to almost 64,000 soldiers and their families.
This includes $310,000 to surviving spouses of soldiers who died on
active duty and over $412,000 to wounded service people.

Charity Navigator gave AER its second consecutive "Four Star" rating.
This is the highest rating from this independent evaluator.

It's sad that government can't take care of our soldiers and their
families adequately. However, thanks to those who contribute to AER
and similar organizations.
